Antique MADONNA IN SORROW Oil Painting features a beautifully done copy of Giovanni Battista Salvi da Sassoferrato's original work.
Signed and dated CARLO SOLEL?( either L or T ) xxxx in ink on the bottom left of the Wood Framed back. There are other words as well, but I am unable to read the letters.
Measures 19 inches wide by 26 inches tall, including it's Black Enamelled & Gilded 1 3/4 inch frame.
